NBM Of Africa Dissociates Self From Black Axe, Says Latter Known Criminal Group

The Neo Black Movement of Africa has unequivocally dissociated itself from an alleged criminal organization, Black Axe.

It will be recalled that the International Police (Interpol) labelled the Black Axe a criminal organization, whose members it said were linked to strings of international financial scams and other criminal activities.

NBM, at a world press conference, in Lagos, Nigeria, last week Friday, explained that concerted effort in the clarification of its unique identity as a responsible body that touch and impact positively on lives and communities all over Africa, was being deliberately twisted by those it said benefit from so doing.

Olorogun Ese Kakor (JP), National President and Hon. Efe Akpokiniovo, Member, Body of Founders and Member, Board of Trustees, NBM of Africa, made the disclosure in a statement issued at the end of the conference.

It disclosed that some expelled members of the group were behind intentions to malign and defame it, pointing out that NBM of Africa has a database.

They stated that the NBM Of Africa, as a structured and disciplined entity, is working continually on the ideals for which it was established; under the principles of Pan Africanism and advancement of Black solidarity, social justice and equality for all disadvantaged persons globally.

They added that the motto of the NBM of Africa, is social justice, equality and equity for all, describing as unfortunate, for anyone to be maligning and defaming it by associating the former with Black Axe.

According to the group: “There is a conspiracy to malign members of NBM of Africa. We have tried to bring down that particular page on Wikipedia, but as much as we try, these malicious people in an attempt to malign NBM members have conspired and vowed to ensure that the page remain, all with the intent to malign the characters of NBM members. We totally dissociate ourselves from Black Axe and all efforts on the social media to discredit NBM of Africa.

“NBM of Africa has nothing to do with the Black Axe Confraternity. NBM is not a criminal organization and should not be dragged into needless comparison with Black Axe and criminal activities committed by unscrupulous elements.

“Black Axe is well known to be a criminal organization. NBM of Africa has no link whatsoever with Black Axe and NBM Of Africa finds it maligning, disparaging and defamatory for anyone or group to associate it with Black Axe Confraternity.

“Let us place it on record that the logo of NBM is being copied, imitated and plagiarized by unscrupulous elements all in a bid to malign the NBM of Africa.

“We smell a conspiracy to malign this organization. Activities on social media handles like the Facebook,TikTok, Wikipedia and Instagram operated by sanctioned/expelled members and non members claiming to be members clearly shows the conspiracy to defame, disparage and malign the character of the organization. Nbm will not seat down and watch to see how false narratives are being propagated as facts.These narratives are presumptions and fictitious.

“The NBM of Africa should not be held responsible for plagiarism and imitation done by others, and we welcome investigations by the security agencies into our affairs. Our books and bank accounts are open for audit and review.

“That a member of NBM of Africa violates the law does not amount to all as being errant. Instances abound of cases of Nigerian policemen, FBI, the Interpol,Metropolitan police or German Police involving in crimes and other vices, but not in anyway mean that the entirety are deviants and criminals.

“There are established religious organizations whose priests and clergy are expected to live within lawful standards, but records abound where some partake in crimes, including child defilement. Should we now say that such religious establishment is a criminal organization? Hence, the NBM should not be defamed or disparaged over offenses committed by any individual member.

“It will undoubtedly be libelous to affiliate NBM of Africa with Black Axe, and in notice that we are ready and willing to enforce and protect our integrity.
“The organization is going through sanitization by the present leadership of Olorogun Ese Kakor. Towards this end, it has so far expelled no less that 27 members, found to have committed various offenses,working round the clock, blackmailing the President of the organization and the organization by posting blackmailing contents on the social media and the internet.

“We have also reported to the appropriate security agencies efforts to plagiarise the NBM motto; insigna, with intent and purposes for pecuniary considerations by unscrupulous individuals, persons and other entities so involved in the unholy act.

“The NBM of Africa requests and advises the Interpol to collaborate with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the anti fraud units of the Nigeria Police, in order to clampdown on persons associated with financial crimes.

“Within the last two years, the NBM of Africa has metamorphosed into becoming the biggest humanitarian organization with records of carrying out over 2,000 humanitarian services on welfare, education and healthcare in the society.“

It added: “The Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) has ceaselessly dissociated itself from such, any and all criminal organizations, including but not limited to the so-called Black Axe Confraternity. Yet, our detractors persist in choosing to malign our well meaning and respected organization.

“This is so unfortunate, to say the least, and disservice to the millions of respected members world over, who have made their names in several spheres and endeavours of live; in contribution to and upliftment of the well-being of Africans.

The NBM however stated that it remains undeterred and resolute in the pursuit of the empowerment and upliftment of the underprivileged; in fighting and achieving it objectives, through legal, acceptable means and avenues.

“We urge all peace loving and development focused people to join hands and partner with us in our noble and lawful objectives, which seek to contribute to a better world for humanity,” the group admonished.
