The Federal High Court sitting in Benin witnessed intense legal activity today as the fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by the Neo-Black Movement (NBM) of Africa against the Edo State Government and others came up for hearing.

In a strongly worded petition dated 11th June, 2025, addressed to the Inspector General of Police and copied to other relevant authorities including the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) (see below), Prince Nwauwa called for urgent intervention by security agencies.
