In a profound demonstration of community service, the NBM of Africa Woji/Rumurolu/Rumuibekwe Chapter achieved a significant milestone with its inaugural medical outreach to the Rumurolu Community in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on December 3, 2023. Guided by Chapter Coordinator Otasowie Osayi Samuel, the event exemplified the organization’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged.

The outreach delivered essential health services, offering complimentary blood pressure and blood sugar check-ups, along with complimentary eye screenings. A notable emphasis was placed on the distribution of medicated glasses, providing substantial benefits to numerous community members.

In a comprehensive interview, the coordinator underscored the organization’s global advocacy for the weak, oppressed, and less privileged, singling out Chief Olorogun Ese Kakor (JP), the National President of NBM of Africa Worldwide, as an exemplar of leadership.

Engineer JJ Johnson, Secretary of NBM Upper Rivers Chapter, acknowledged the persistent efforts of the movement in reaching out to the less privileged. He commended the Woji/Rumurolu/Rumuibekwe Chapter for its praiseworthy initiative. He also expressed gratitude for the leadership of Engineer Allen Sele, President of the Upper Rivers Chapter.
