BREAKING: NBM Of Africa Completes Renovation Of Damaged Facility At Police State CID Umuahia (Photos, Video)

In an effort to contribute to the security of the people of Abia State and its environs, Neo Black Movement Of Africa (NBM) has completed the renovation of a burnt hall within the premises of the State Criminal Investigation Department, CID in the Abia State Police Command in Umuahia.

The president of NBM Umuahia zone Engr. Nnaemeka Ezeanyagu while handing over the renovated facility along with some office furniture to the immediate past commissioner of the police in the state, AIG Janet Agbede expressed the willingness of the Movement to continue to contribute its quota to the peace and stability of the state which is paramount to the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led administration. Ezeanyagu, also congratulated Agbede, for her promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, saying it was clear evidence of hard, adding that “the reward for work is more work”.

According to him “The movement believes in one black race. In addition, NBM is a socio-cultural organization that sincerely seeks to revive, retain and modify where necessary those aspects of African culture that should provide vehicles of progress for the global populace.

“As a responsible organization, we the members of NBM of Africa Umuahia zone in keeping with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-in nation building and giving back to the security have always in the past done charity works, like orphanage visitations and school rehabilitations, but this time around we undertook this project to complement the efforts of A.I.G Janet Agbede and His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Ph.D.  The money used for this project was raised from within us without external support. But we will be asking for your support in due course as we will be embarking on the construction of our Zonal House (Arena) in Umuahia. “We want to assure the Nigeria police, the other security agencies, and the Abia State Government that we are partners in progress in attaining peace and security and in nation building and we promise them that their selfless service to the nation will always be appreciated and we want to reecho that the police is our friend”.

Ezeanyagu also commended the National President of NBM Of Africa (Worldwide), Olorogun Ese Kakor, for his support of the Umuahia zone all through the time they were handling the project.

Also speaking the National President of NBM of Africa, Olorogun Ese Kakor represented by the NCP, Chief Eribo Emwanta presented the opening address. In his address he congratulated Agbede on her new promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, saying that the promotion was well merited and long overdue.

In his words; “NBM is a socio-cultural organization whose aim is to promote and protect the human race. It is an organization that champions and promotes Africa Tradition and its core values. It is also an organization that cooperates with other organizations of like minds to carry out charitable activities all over the world,” he ended.

In her remarks, AIG Agbede commended the NBM Africa Umuahia zone for remembering the police her trying time. She called on other well-meaning individuals to assist security agents in the country in the fight against crimes and criminality.
