The NBM of Africa received with deep sadness the news of the passing of His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

President Buhari was a statesman who served Nigeria with unwavering dedication across various periods of our national history, first as a military leader and later as a democratically elected President. His commitment to public service, national security, and the fight against corruption defined his leadership and left an indelible mark on our nation’s trajectory.

On behalf of the National Executive Council and the entire members of the NBM of Africa, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of the late President, the Government and people of Nigeria, and all those who mourn this great loss.

We pray that the Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Aljanah Firdaus. May his soul find eternal rest, and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations of leaders.
