NBM’s Malaysia Chapter Holds Medical Outreach in Nigerian Community

Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM), Malaysia Zone, has provided free medical checkups and medicines to indigenes and non-indigenes of Ogbe-Udu in Udu community of Delta State, Nigeria.

The event, the first of its kind in the area, which took place at Ogbe Udu community hall on January 21, 2022 is part of its implementation of the zonal blueprint.

About 400 elderly people and other indigenes benefited from the exercise and were all smiles at the end of the day. Many of the beneficiaries, who spoke with our correspondent, commended NBM of Africa for the gesture. They noted that the organisation braved the odds to reach out to the poor and needy in Udu community.

The medical outreach was the organization’s (NBM’s) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a way of giving back to society and a lifeline to the less privileged. It expressed profound gratitude to Delta Zone, for its immense logistical assistance. It urged the people to work and cooperate for the benefit of the local community and in making the medical outreach programme a success.

Speaking after the event, the President of NBM’s Malaysia chapter, Mr. Lugard Okoye, extolled Edirin Goru’s selfless disposition through the instrumentality of the organisation.

Other dignitaries present were Delta Chapter president, Mr. Timothy Oyibo; Delta Chapter Council Leader, Mr. Preye Niger; National Legal Adviser, Chief Barrister Kelvin Agbroko; National Council member, Mr. Ochuko Oyoroko; and Ughelli Chapter Secretary, Mr. Ukre Oris.

Others were Ogbe-Udu community executive and Delta Chapter working executive among others.

A statement by NBM’s national spokesman, Mr. Oluwatosin Dixon, said: “The Renaissance regime is centred on love and humanity, adding: Thank you Malaysia Zone for this outstanding achievement.”
